In order to improve students’ emergency response capabilities to sudden accidental injuries and better master daily first aid knowledge, on the afternoon of June 30, the county Red Cross, The emergency first aid training class jointly organized by Guangling No. 5 Middle School was held in the conference room of Guangling No. 5 Middle School. More than 80 teachers and students from Guangling No. 5 Middle School and some county fire rescue personnel participated in the training.

Before the training, the Red Cross teachers distributed promotional materials and rescue guides to the students. Subsequently, the first aid trainer used a combination of theoretical knowledge explanation and practical operation to systematically explain and demonstrate operation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Heimlich maneuver, and introduced the use of AED automatic external defibrillator. The professional and vivid explanations and superb rescue techniques of the first aid trainers deeply attracted every student present. The trainees took the initiative to come to the stage to learn first aid skills by themselves. The trainer provided one-on-one guidance, reminded key points, corrected wrong actions, and strived to make every action standard and in place. Through theoretical explanations, coaching and practical drills, trainees have a more perceptual understanding and mastery of emergency first aid knowledge and improved on-site rescue capabilities in responding to emergencies.
