In order to effectively promote the employment of 2022 graduates and job internships for 2023 graduates, and build a two-way selection platform for enterprises and graduates, on June 24, Yunnan Communications Vocational and Technical College held the 2022 "Highway and Construction Engineering" Graduates' 100-day Sprint Job Fair and 2023 Graduate Internship Preliminary Selection Meeting (hereinafter referred to as " double selection fair ").
The double selection fair attracted more than 70 companies from inside and outside the province to recruit in the school, providing positions that fully cover the road and bridge majors and construction engineering majors of the college, with more than 1,000 recruitment positions.
Secretary of the Party Committee of the college Zhao Wei, Dean Jiang Yehua, Vice Dean Yan Shan, Vice Dean An Siming, and Director of the Admissions and Employment Guidance Department Yan Weining waited on site to provide guidance and communicate with corporate recruiters to gain an in-depth understanding of the company. Job requirements, salary benefits and students’ employment intentions, etc.
Students actively submitted resumes, participated in on-site interviews, and communicated individually with recruiting companies at the double selection meeting. The college arranges counselors and internship instructors to guide students in job selection through a two-pronged approach and provide professional guidance to graduates.
The employer patiently answered the students’ questions about salary, employment agreement, development direction, etc. Many graduates reached internship and employment intentions at this recruitment site.
This double election is the implementation of the decision of "stabilizing employment" and "guaranteing employment" and the Ministry of Education's deployment requirements for the employment of college graduates. It is also the result of the special action of "Visiting Enterprises to Find Jobs" by the college secretary and principal.
