As of September 16, certification and review were successfully completed.
This training and certification is carried out in two stages. In the first stage, the district and county health bureaus organize training and preliminary elections in their jurisdictions. Provincial and municipal-level teachers are divided into groups and go to the grassroots level. The method combines centralized theoretical teaching and grouped practical operation guidance. The city's unified courseware, test propositions and skill assessment ensure the quality and effectiveness of training. In the second stage, the Municipal Health Commission organized county-level teacher certification and review. Selected by districts and counties, 28 obstetrics and neonatology medical staff were finally determined to participate. The content of the certification assessment includes three parts: theoretical knowledge test, teaching skills assessment and operation skill assessment. The full score of the assessment is 100 points. The content of the theoretical knowledge test is the theoretical knowledge related to neonatal resuscitation. The assessment of teaching skills and operational skills is randomly selected from the question bank and completed within a limited time. This certification strictly follows the principles of objectivity, fairness and justice, and strictly controls the "theoretical knowledge level", "teaching skills level" and "practical skills level" to prevent confusion.
Neonatal resuscitation training is one of the effective measures to control the mortality rate of children under 5 years of age. Since the implementation of the project, the clinical operation skills, teaching ability and teamwork ability of Zhangjiajie's medical staff have effectively improved. The infant mortality rate and the mortality rate of children under 5 years of age decreased by 48.54%, 58.25% and 62.43% respectively compared with 2011, and the effect is remarkable.
