Wenxi County launches a series of activities for the 24th National Mandarin Promotion Week
September 12 to 18 is the 24th National Mandarin Promotion Week. In order to implement the spirit of the activity, the Wenxi County Language Commission Office and the County Education Bureau launched a variety of publicity activities to promote Mandarin in combination with this year's publicity theme "Mandarin recitation a century of great achievement, standardized characters to write a new chapter in the era".
On the morning of September 14, the launching ceremony of the 24th National "Push Week" was held in West Lake Plaza. Relevant persons in charge of the Wenxi County Language Committee and other member units, principals of some basic-level schools, and popularization volunteers attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, the staff set up propaganda desks, propaganda pages, hung themed banners, and carefully distributed information about the week, propaganda materials and posters to passersby. Consultation by the masses, publicizing the importance of "speaking Mandarin and writing standardized characters" and other methods, calling on the broad masses of the people throughout the county to use Putonghua and write standardized characters individually to create a good language environment.
After the launching ceremony, Twitter volunteers went to Xiazhuang Village, Hedi Town to carry out the "Tweet Helping Rural Revitalization" publicity service activities to promote knowledge to local villagers Page, promote the "Language Poverty Alleviation" APP, and introduce in detail the methods of using the "Language Poverty Alleviation" APP to learn, practice and test Putonghua to help users in poverty-stricken villages learn Mandarin better.
Some of the popular volunteers came to Beiguo Primary School to carry out admissions activities,The “Xinhua Dictionary” reference books and Chinese classic reading books are also presented to left-behind children and disabled children to encourage students to love and get close to the classics.
This publicity event kicked off the 24th National Mandarin Promotion Week in Wenxi County. According to the arrangement, the county’s primary and secondary schools will also continue to combine party history learning and education activities, and further organize a series of activities such as teachers’ classic poem reading speeches, teacher and student Chinese writing competitions, and traditional cultural education to vigorously promote and regulate the use of the national common language.
