Buddha said: Save all sentient beings.
What is the method to save all sentient beings? It is generally believed that Buddhism teaches people the path to nirvana, which means that all thoughts can be extinguished, integrated and harmonious, without being still, without being, without being. This is an indescribable state. It cannot be called a realm, a state, or even "Nirvana." We call it Nirvana because we have to use some language to explain it. In such a state of being without self and dust, one can see without seeing, listen without hearing, and gain without thinking. Everything is flowing naturally, without any deliberateness or worry. There is no confusion between self and self, and there is no awareness and randomness. However, it is by no means chaotic, but a clear and clear scene with light, wind, and moon. It is truly as seen. In order to achieve positive results, the Buddha taught two methods: diligent practice and sudden enlightenment for people with different qualifications. Practitioners can gradually get rid of confusion through training, sublimate the realm by getting rid of confusion, achieve harmony by breaking through the realm, and finally reach Nirvana by forgetting the perfection. Those who are enlightened can suddenly realize the truth. However, regardless of diligent practice or sudden enlightenment, there are situations where one can only achieve enlightenment occasionally but cannot maintain it. Therefore, the Buddha requires dual cultivation of concentration and wisdom.
However, in terms of the world we live in, everything is realistic. People need to eat, society needs to be stable, the country needs to function, and human beings need to thrive. Social production and social work are indispensable. Without real-world work, you will go hungry. If everyone is hungry, who will provide for the Buddhist disciples? So, the question arises. The Buddha wants to save all sentient beings, and wants everyone in the world to eliminate their delusions, see through the world of mortals, and move towards the other side. What should we do in the real world? Even if you don't need to eat or drink after attaining the true fruition, that will only happen if you can enlighten all sentient beings in an instant, but it is absolutely impossible for all sentient beings to realize that in an instant.
Furthermore, if all sentient beings are saved and there are no more ordinary people in the world, then the seeds of Buddhism will be gone. Because both men and women have become monks, have abstained from sex, and have stopped having children. There are no more new lives in the world. How can there be any young novice monks?
In this way, we ask: Is "monasticism" the basic method for Buddha to save all sentient beings? Obviously, the Buddha has a compassionate heart. He will not feel like it when he sees that people in the world are doing nothing to work. He will not be satisfied when he sees that there are no more seeds of Buddhism in the world. Only by living endlessly can Buddhism be prosperous. Therefore, although it is said to save all sentient beings, "everyone becomes a monk" is definitely not what the World Honored One wants!
What should I do if I don’t agree that everyone should become a monk but also want to save all sentient beings? I said: Pudu is still alive.
We often say "Seeing is believing", as the Buddha says: "Everything seen is unreal". In fact, since the form exists and can be seen by the eyes, it means that this form exists. But "all things" have no beginning and no end, so they have no origin; they are infinite, so they have no origin. People don’t know why they are at this moment, why “I” is “me”, why “I” has become a part of existence, so if you think about it carefully, all realities are illusions, but this illusion can only be perceived, but cannot be thought through, so seeing may not be true. Therefore, "seen", "placed", and "experienced" all have the duality of "real" and "non-real". Color is emptiness, emptiness is color, color is not different from emptiness, and emptiness is not different from color. If there is an "other world" outside the material world - an "other world" with completely different properties and laws, then I think that the "material world" and "other world" have no subordinate relationship and no difference in superiority. I am afraid that they together form a larger infinitely inclusive existence, and this existence should be said to be a "supreme" existence, an "external" existence, and an "omniscience" existence.
The reason why I say this is that I believe that in the eyes of the Buddha, the material world is also a great world, the world that should be the same, and the real world. Even if it is an illusion, it is an illusion that lasts, is great, and is extremely honorable. Therefore, what the Buddha said about saving all sentient beings is not to guide everyone to enter Buddhism, but to enable everyone to see the world clearly through enlightenment, look down on fame and fortune, find a clear direction, meaning, and way of life, and obtain eternal happiness in the heart; and through the public's enlightenment, love between husband and wife, harmony in neighbors, social peace, less pain, lawsuits, and quarrels; and through love, harmony, peace, etc., make the world a happy paradise. If such a goal is achieved, the mission of saving all sentient beings has been completed.
The material world is, after all, a material world. Its "materiality" and "entity" determine that it must develop according to its own laws, which is in line with nature. It is in line with nature, and Buddha will not go against it. Therefore, to save all sentient beings does not mean to guide individuals one by one, but to educate the world generally. If you are a disciple of Buddhism, then if you only seek to achieve enlightenment for yourself, what you will gain after all is limited, and this is not the original intention of the Buddha. Only by opening up the wisdom of the world, broadening the minds of the world, resolving the grudges of the world, nourishing the hearts of the world, and creating a peaceful and peaceful society in the world can you truly achieve the right fruition and be the great Buddha!
