For ordinary people, it is hardest to let down the benefactor of a beauty, but for Tang Monk, the infatuation of his daughter's king is completely immune to his hard heart.

Of course, it was precisely because he could withstand that temptation that he later achieved the achievement of " Sandalwood Merit Buddha ".

It seems that once you enter Buddhism, you will be destined to be out of love. Once you move your mind, your lifelong cultivation will be ruined.

But there is no absolute in the world. Among Buddhist disciples, there is a person who not only has love, but also does not hinder his practice. Not only will he become a Bodhisattva, he will eventually become a Buddha. Speaking of which, his name is still familiar to everyone, and that is Wei Tuo.

Wei Tuo can basically see his "shadow" in modern temples, that is, the guardian god of the temple, you can see it as soon as you enter the gate.

According to legend, Wei Tuo was once a god in the Heavenly Court, but when he was in the Heavenly Court, he was just a very ordinary low-level god. Although he was a god, his identity was exactly the same as that of a mortal peddler.

At that time, there was a fairy in the Heavenly Court, who was the flower god. Although he had a serious profession, his level was not high.

Wei Tuo and Hua Shen often have some "business" exchanges because of their similar classes, and they will fall in love over time.

Knowing that falling in love in heaven is illegal, but out of each other's love, the two still secretly spent a long time in love with each other.

But their underground love was discovered by Jade Emperor , and immediately demoted the fairy of Epiphyllum to the mortal world, and became a real Epiphyllum by the small river under a mountain. There was only one hour every day to reveal her true appearance.

Because it was knocked back to the prototype of the plant, the Epiphyllum still retains the memory in the sky.

Fortunately, Wei Tuo was originally a human being who practiced and became an immortal. Although he was demoted to the mortal world, he still became an ordinary person.

was just reincarnated in a poor family. He was sent to the temple by his parents at the age of seven or eight to become a monk. Because he was still a human being, all his memories in the heaven were erased.

But although the Epiphyllum has become a flower, she recognizes the little monk as his lover at first sight, so she chooses to bloom at night, hoping that when Wei Tuo passes by, she can stop and take a look at him.

Unfortunately, no matter how amazing the ephemeral blooms, the little monk Wei Tuo never looked at him more, let alone recognize that this is his former lover.

Just like that, the ephemeral cereus blooms every night, and welcoming Weituo with its most gorgeous figure. But day after day, Wei Tuo can only "pass by one by one", which is the allusion of "a flash in the pan. Just for Wei Tuo".

But Wei Tuo, a little novice monk, will always grow up. With his profound practice of Buddhism, I wonder if one day I can recognize the ephemeral cereus with a flash of inspiration?

The arrangement of Wei Tuo by heaven seems to completely copy Tang Sanzang's resume.

Tang Sanzang refused his daughter's king and finally got the true scriptures and became a Buddha. Since he became a Buddha, he completely forgot the love in the world. Between him and his daughter's king, he became a passerby in life. After growing up slowly, Wei Tuo was indeed very wise. At the age of eighteen, he was already proficient in various Buddhist scriptures and Buddhist principles. He saw that his cultivation was profound, and one day he made a great wish in front of the Buddha's statue, wishing that he would always protect the Dharma and persuade him to destroy the precepts forever.

Such a great ambition naturally touched the Buddha.

So, Shakyamuni Buddha personally came to the temple where Wei Tuo practiced and personally gave him a prophecy, and in the future he became the "King of Fire Purification Medicine". After a long cycle of reincarnation, the King of Fire Purification Medicine at that time will become the Buddha and enjoy a half-catastrophe.

Don’t think that the “half-kiro life” is very short. You should know that the small kalpa of Buddhism is 16798,000, so the half-kiro life from the Tower to the Buddha is about 8 million years old.

And Shakyamuni Buddha only lived in his 80s. From this point of view, after Wei Tuo became a Buddha, he was indeed a long-lived Buddha.

But what about the ephemeral? It was still the night-blooming cereal by the stream that only bloomed at night, and the day when Wei Tuo, who was still waiting for her, could recognize her...

. I don’t know if she knew that Wei Tuo had been prophetized by Sakyamuni. Not only had she become a Bodhisattva, she would also become a Buddha in the future. There was no chance between her and Wei Tuo at least during the period when Wei Tuo became a Buddha.

According to this calculation, the future of love between Wei Tuo and Epiphyllum is really bleak, but Epiphyllum still has no regrets and is still blooming at night. Perhaps, she is still waiting for Wei Tuo's return?
