Yunlin Temple is located in the South Street area of Yanggao County, Shanxi. It was built in the Ming Dynasty . After hundreds of years of war, only the Main Hall is now relatively complete.
In the main hall, there are Eighteen Arhats, Dharma Protector Vajra, Sakyamuni Buddha, Bodhisattva, etc., as well as exquisite murals. Friends who like ancient temples and Buddhist culture can search for it. Scholars will not go into details here.
Today we are talking about the mysterious night language of Yunlin Temple.
According to the era of humanitarian torrent, the trend of destroying the Four Olds swept across the country. As a typical Ming Dynasty ancient building in Yanggao County , it is the most popular temple in Yanggao County and the most effective temple in the hearts of local people. Yunlin Temple is still the target of attack.
It is said that at that time, after the Torrent Legion came to Yunlin Temple, they were ready to work hard to demolish this temple of cow ghosts and snake gods. But he encountered strong opposition from the gatekeeper.
The reason for my objection is very simple. This temple has spirituality and there will be retribution if it is demolished. Of course, the people in the
army thought this was nonsense and sneered at the uncle's statement. When the uncle
saw that these people were ready to make a move, he dropped a bombshell in a cruel move. The uncle lowered his voice and told a local cultural leader in the legion a secret.
He said that he was not lying, it was true. If you don't believe it, just sleep here for one night and you will know. Anyway, you are not in a hurry for this day, the temple is here and you can’t run away.
The cultural officer heard this and thought so. In addition, when he came here, the elderly at home also expressed opposition. Due to various reasons, the cultural officer felt that he could postpone it for one night.

So that night, the cultural officer came to Yunlin Temple alone. It was a quiet night and the bright moon was high. In the solemn ancient temple, only the Buddhist hall is solemn.
The cultural officer walked alone in this silent temple, always feeling unsure.
"No wonder, I am also following orders."
The cultural officer clasped his hands and said secretly to the main hall bathed in the moonlight under the locust tree.
Walking to the abbot's room in the side hall, he spread out the quilt and slept.
However, when it was midnight, he was woken up by a thunderous sound.
He opened his eyes and listened uneasily for a while. He was shocked to find out that the sound came from the empty Mahavira.
And although the voice was speaking, it was in a language he had never heard before. And there were many people speaking, and their voices were very majestic.
The cultural officer was so frightened that he didn't even dare to express his anger, so he just spent the night like this.
The sound disappeared only at dawn. The cultural officials also quickly packed up their things and left.
After that, he never thought of demolishing the temple, but began to protect it.
And this ancient temple from the Ming Dynasty has also been preserved.
(folklore, do not consider it fictional, any similarity is purely coincidental)
