Mage Miaohua is currently a well-known monk engaged in Buddhist research, teaching and spreading the Dharma in the Buddhist community in my country. He has worked tirelessly abroad all year round, and his special experience in spreading the Dharma has been highly praised and praised by all walks of life. Because he is full of interest in traveling, tea tasting, meditating, appreciation, calligraphy and painting, he calls himself "Five Friends Monk". The master has high attainments in calligraphy and painting creation. One of the masterpieces of "Xixin Zen Poetry and Zen Paintings" is exquisite and superb, and it always makes people feel that the works are vivid and interesting and have a strong Zen meaning.

On January 2, 1960, Master Miaohua was born in a rural family in Hua County, Shaanxi Province. He has been sensible and well-behaved since childhood and has a deep roots of kindness. Due to his poor family, he started working hard at a young age and suffered a lot of hardships during this period.

Later, due to family components, he went to Xinjiang to study with his father. He gradually realized the hardships of the world. He worked hard in adversity, worked hard and worked hard, and finally entered the "Shandong Zibo Education College" as he wished.

After graduating from university in 1986, Master Miaohua was assigned to teach at Shengli Oilfield No. 27 Middle School because of his outstanding performance and strong ability. In that era, although the salary and benefits of teachers were not high, being able to have a stable job as a teacher was the hope of the whole village.

However, after less than a year as a teacher, he decisively gave up this job that everyone yearned for and decided to find the Buddha in his heart. In 1987, he came to Zhanshan Temple in Qingdao alone, and Master Li Mingzhe became a monk and gave the Dharma name "Miaohua". From then on, I retired to the mountains and forests, and passed on the Buddha's Dharma lineage for decades.

The reason why Master Miaohua quit his job as a teacher to become a monk is that Buddhism wisdom has sprouted in his heart. During his freshman year, the monk felt the changes in the world and his life was impermanent, so he thought about life and constantly sought spiritual outlook in religion. He read and studied religious books such as " Quran ", " Bible ", " Hundred Metaphorical Sutra ", and "Five Lanterns and Yuan". During

, Master Miaohua was exposed to Islam , Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism and other religions, but in the end he found that it was the wisdom of Buddhism that relieved the doubts in his heart. Finally, in his study and work, Master Miaohua was obsessed with Buddhism, and his good heart and wisdom were awakened, and gradually became tired of the intrigues of society.

During his tenure as a teacher, Master Miaohua was determined to be a Buddha, and in his spare time he would go to Qianfoshan to seek the master and visit the Tao and experience the life of the monks in the temple. Because of his deep roots of goodness and sincerity in his heart, he was deeply loved by Master Qianfoshan Nengchan. He taught Tiantai Meditation and Contemplation, Pure Land and other methods, and soon had the experience of the first meditation.

As the good roots mature step by step, Master Miaohua has another experience in life, and finally quit his job as a teacher with his family’s consent. On June 19, 1987, , the day of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's enlightenment , he was recommended by Master Nengchan of Qianfoshan, and became a monk at Zhanshan Temple in Qingdao and studied under the , Master Mingzhe .

In the early days of becoming a monk, Master Miaohua worked with the crowd on the one hand and learned Buddhist etiquette on the other hand. Although the life of becoming a monk was very difficult, in front of the ancient Buddha of Qingdeng, he was filled with joy in the face of the Qingdeng Ancient Buddha, and was cheerful and open-minded, and took suffering as joy. In 1988, the Buddhist master Benhuan preached the precepts at Nanhua Temple in Shaoguan, Guangdong. Master Miaohua went to receive the precepts and became a qualified monk. After the precepts were completed, he served as the director of the temple in Zhanshan Temple in Qingdao and the director of the temple in Shangtianzhu Faxi Temple in Hangzhou. Master Miaohua was taught by his mentor and knew the decline of Buddhism and the lack of rejuvenation of the ancestral home. He immediately determined to spread the Dharma throughout his life, cultivate talents, and devoted his life to the development of the Buddhist cause.

In October 1989, Master Miaohua was promoted to lecture at Guangji Temple in Beijing. He was highly valued by Zhao Puchu, President of Chinese Buddhist Association, and invited him to work as a teacher at the Academic Affairs Department of the Chinese Buddhist Association. Five years later, Master Miaohua served as the director of the Academic Affairs Department and devoted himself to the cultivation of Buddhist monks. In addition, he also studied law, policy, and academic studies, and gained rich educational experience here.

At the same time, Master Miaohua also followed Teacher Liu Feng to study " Sutras spoken by Vimalakirti " and focused on writing the book "Explanation of Vimalakirti Sutra", which had a very wide influence in the Buddhist community. In addition, Master Miaohua was invited by all the great monks and masters to lecture on " Diamond Sutra " and " The Platform Sutra " and " The Platform Sutra 6 Patriarch " in many temples, including Xiantong Temple in Wutai Mountain, Zhenru Temple in Yunju Mountain, Baofeng Temple in Mazu Taochang, Hanshan Temple in Suzhou, Fahai Temple in Fuzhou, Guangxiao Temple in Guangzhou. The special lecture experience is admirable and has benefited a lot.

Master Miaohua is engaged in academic affairs while meeting and exchanging Buddhist teachings. Over the years, he has participated in various academic affairs meetings with Elder Ischeng, Master Guoyi, Master Changming, Master Mingshan, Master Mingshan, Master Wudao, Master Benzhi, Master Foyuan and other Buddhist dragon elephants, and effectively promoted the exchange and development of Asian Buddhist culture.

In 2003, Master Miaohua resigned from the academic affairs of the Chinese Buddhist Association and went to major famous temples in the northwest and northeast to practice and spread the teachings, and supported his mother to the end. During his many years of academic affairs, Master Miaohua has been hired as the head of the class by more than a dozen temples, including Changsha Xixin Temple, Zaozhuang Ganquan Temple, Yangzhou Wenfeng Temple, , Peixian Guanyin Temple and other famous temples. At the same time, Master Miaohua also went deep into famous schools such as Tsinghua and Peking University and major enterprises to preach the Dharma. He trained countless talents and Buddhist disciples spread all over the country.

From 2003 to the present, Master Miaohua has written many Buddhist scriptures, including "Wisdom and Liberation - Interpretation of Vimalakirti", "Liberation of Life", "New Talk of Diamond Sutra", "Wisdom of Life - Platform Sutra and Life", "Vajra Wisdom", "Discovery and Enlightenment", "Enlightenment of the Original Heart", "Change the Way of Life", "Change the Way of Life", "Change the Way of Thinking", "Starting from the Heart", "You Can Be a Buddha Also", "Speaking the Sixth Patriarch Huineng"; "The Monk to Entrepreneurs", etc. The works are colorful and easy to understand, giving practitioners a more effective interpretation of the true meaning of Buddhism in practice.

Master Miaohua has been a monk for thirty-five years and has taken suffering as a joy throughout his life. He sets an example and advocates Mahayana Buddhism practice. While committed to the development of the Buddhist cause, he is also keen on charity and public welfare, and reflects his value in disaster relief, poverty alleviation, and education assistance. Over the years, Master Miaohua has worked hard on his practice. He has never meditated for a day, nor has he left Buddhism for a day. He has both beauty and knowledge of the sect and sect. Now, he is in full swing, and has a sacred and beautiful life. His merits and careers in the future will be as high as the sky, and he is determined to be a great master who deserves his name.
