The child said: "I do."

The old monk held his hand and came to a mulberry tree. After asking him to worship the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the ten directions, he cut his hair for him. He untied his luggage, took out a cassock, and asked him to put it on. It was neither big nor small, and it was a fit. The child immediately looked solemn when he put on the cassock, as if he had been a monk for many years.

The old monk said happily, "Amitabha! It seems that you are born to be suitable for entering my Buddhist temple." He pointed to the northeast and said to him, "There is a temple a few miles away from here. Go directly there and pay homage to the abbot, and say that I asked you to be his disciple." After that, the old monk disappeared suddenly, and then he realized that this was the manifestation of the living Buddha and Bodhisattva.

The little monk followed the old monk's words and came to the temple. The abbot was very surprised by his adventure, so he left him and named him "Yi Guang". In less than ten years, he had become well-versed in Buddhist scriptures and his heart of Tao became stronger and stronger.

Ten years later, Zetian died, the Tang Dynasty revived, and the court searched for descendants of the King of Langya, and Yi Guang told the abbot about his life experience. The monks were shocked when they learned the origin of Yi Guang and immediately reported the matter to the prefect of Qizhou Li Zeyan, who was the uncle of Monk Yi Guang.
