Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is one of the four great bodhisattvas in Chinese Buddhist . According to legend, his birthday is the 19th day of the second lunar month, the day of enlightenment is the 19th day of the sixth lunar month, and the day of Nirvana is the 19th day of the ninth lunar month, and the temple is Putuo Mountain.

A sea of suffering always serves as a boat to save people.
This mainly reflects the compassionate heart of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Guanyin Bodhisattva is a compassionate Bodhisattva. As a sentient being in distress, he only needs to recite his name, "The Bodhisattva immediately observes his voice" and goes to save and liberation, hence the name. He once avoided the name of Taizong Li Shimin because of . He removed the word "Shi" and was abbreviated as "Guanyin".
The second name is "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva "
Bodhi is now Bodhi, with great supernatural powers, and suddenly thousands of hands and eyes appear; Avalokitesvara is the power of the true Buddha, and it is always a thought of compassion.
The Heart Sutra begins with "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, who practices deep Prajna Paramita at the time , and sees that the five aggregates are empty." This is the wisdom of Guanyin Bodhisattva, including the fundamental wisdom, the wisdom of later gain, the wisdom of wonderful existence, and the wisdom of emptiness of nature, and also includes the wisdom of completed and done by , the wisdom of , the wisdom of wonderful observation, the wisdom of equality, and the wisdom of great mirror. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva observes himself with his harmonious wisdom, and does not use form or emptiness to create false thoughts. This is also the wisdom of Tathagata . By restoring this wisdom, one can escape from life and death, obtain liberation, and obtain freedom, and further obtain supernatural powers and save sentient beings at ease. Therefore, it is called " Avalokitesvara ", which means it is free without any restraints and is very free.
The third one is called "Pumen Tushi"
size and blend, and it is the same wish;
compassionate and wisdom to show the Pumen.
The four universal gates of compassion, great vows, practice, and elimination of confusion belong to self-interest, and are self-cultivation and attainment of liberation; the six universal gates of Dharma, supernatural powers, conveniences, preaching, offerings, and achieving sentient beings belong to the benefit of others. The ten universal gates of benefiting oneself and others are free and free, so Guanyin Bodhisattva is also called the universal master.
The fourth name is "Yuantong Master"
Complete the ten directions, observe the thousand-handed eyes and help you to cross;
understands three lifetimes, and has great compassion and sails with the boat.
What is circle and connection? The round one is harmonious; the one who is versatile is versatile. Just imagine, why is the main hall called the "Yuantong Treasure Hall" in Putuo Mountain Guanyin Yinghua Temple? Why is Guanyin also called the Yuantong Master? These are all the names given to Bodhisattvas according to Guanyin's practice virtues and methods.
