I love to talk about water. If we follow Zhuangzi’s saying, “The intention of a perfect person is like a mirror. It does not hold back or welcome, responds but does not hide, so it can conquer things without harming them.”

Then for ordinary people, "obsession" means hoping that things will develop according to their own imagination, rather than throwing themselves into things; people with obsessions have trouble getting over things when they encounter them, and they always think about them over and over again, giving It only increases your troubles. This is completely opposite to the nature of water. What we are talking about here is "origination". The characteristic of

valley is that it is "empty", and everything can be stored in it. It comes when it comes, and it will not stay when you leave the valley. It is like an "outsider" existence. According to Zhuangzi's words, "If you do nothing, things will transform themselves."

Compared with ordinary people, they can’t hold anything in their hearts. Even if they do put it in, they can’t throw it out. They still feel awkward in their hearts. This is also the opposite of Gu Xing. What we are talking about here is "empty nature". Taken together, it is " dependent origination is empty ". In other words, no matter what happens to you, no matter whether you care or not, it will eventually go away, just like autumn and winter, it cannot be retained.
