Shijiazhuang Wuji Fude Temple is located in the east of Jiangren Village, Nanliu Township, Wuji County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, and in the south of Dongnanliu Village.
Shijiazhuang Wuji Fude Temple was built in the 15th year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (AD 1750). It once had the Main Hall, Shanmen Hall, Archway, Bell and Drum Tower and 108 various halls. Linji Sect Zen Master Hongsheng once stationed here to preach Dharma and preach. Later, it was rebuilt and destroyed many times due to wars. It was not until the Republic of China that Fude Temple was rebuilt again. The temple was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. There are still preserved pillar foundation stones, merit monuments, Kasyapa Jade Buddha, etc. The temple began to be rebuilt offsite in 2015.
At present, Shijiazhuang Wuji Fude Temple has a courtyard-style layout, with a gate, east and west side halls, a main hall (ancient Buddha hall), and two pagodas behind the temple.
It is said that a white marble Kassapa Buddha is enshrined in the temple, so Fude Temple is called the ancient Buddha dojo of Kassapa. And because it is close to Anguo, which is "the best medicine market in the world" and "the capital of medicine", the local people have always circulated the incarnations of Kassapa Buddha, Medicine King Bodhisattva and Longtian Dharma Protector and Dharma Protector Immortal Family of Fude Temple. human legend.
