"" 智论" says: If you seek great benefits, you must adhere to the precepts." If you want to pursue the great benefits of liberation and even Buddhahood, you must adhere to the pure precepts.

The commandments are the foundation of all virtues and the key to practice. From the completion of the monkhood to the establishment of the path of liberation, they are all built on the basis of morality.

If we break the precepts or break the precepts, all merits cannot be established, and no practice can be achieved. Therefore, don't get rid of the precepts is not only a means to stop evil, but also the soil for all good deeds.

Because we recognize the importance of the precepts, we should protect it wholeheartedly as if we cherish the most precious treasure, so as not to make it appear flawed.

We also need to care for it as we love our only life, so as not to cause any damage to it. We even have to regard precepts as more precious than life,Because it is the basis of the Dharmakaya's wisdom and life, its function is not only in the physical body in this period.

The ring is the foundation of all good dharma in the world and beyond. But this is not to say that there is no good dharma without precepts. There are also worldly good laws in the world, such as benevolence, justice, etiquette, wisdom and faith advocated by Confucianism.

But all good dharma will become pure, stable and complete because of the precepts, and the achievement of liberation and supreme bodhi is also based on the precepts. If you break the precepts at will, all good dharma will not be consummated.

"It's like having no feet to go, no wings to fly, no boat cravings, it’s unavailable." It’s like no two feet wanting to travel far, no wings wanting to fly, no ferry wants to do it. It is impossible to do it.

For spiritual practice, the ring functions like feet, wings and a ferry. We want to travel from this shore of life and death to the other shore of Nirvana. Without precepts, it would be impossible.
