Learn to observe effectively
Dushan County No. 3 Kindergarten carried out teaching and research activities for children's observation and recording
In order to further improve the ability of teachers in our kindergarten to observe and record children's behavior and solve problems in teachers' work practice. On the evening of September 20, Dushan County No. 3 Kindergarten carried out a special teaching and research training activity on "Observation and Recording of Children's Behavior".
This teaching and research activity was carried out in three steps. First, Principal Li Huashan used PPT to connect theory with practice, from shallow to deep, progressing layer by layer, respectively, and explained from three links: what is observation record and why you need to observe, observation skills, and how to record effectively. Combined with multiple vivid cases, he conducted a detailed and in-depth analysis of the teachers' observation, such as how to observe, precautions in observation, and analysis, interpretation and reflection of observation records. Subsequently, a teacher was recommended to analyze and record cases on-site in the grade group. The teacher drew observation points from the children's day activities, recorded the children's behavior during the activities, and conducted effective analysis of the "Guidelines" based on the children's behavior to help children solve problems in the game. The teachers expressed their own opinions and put forward corresponding opinions. At the end of the event, Director Li sorted out and evaluated the case analysis based on the content of the training and the teachers, and had an interactive communication with all teachers.
Through this activity, teachers have a deeper understanding of the purpose of writing observation records and how to write observation records. Both concepts and strategies have improved teachers' understanding of observation, and effectively helped teachers to interpret children more scientifically in future observation and recording work, and can more effectively promote the development of children and teachers.
