Recently, there was another incident of " campus bullying " that broke into our sight.

Recently, another

In the video circulating on the Internet, the girl who was beaten was sitting in a seat with her hair dissipated, allowing three other girls to take turns slapping her in the face and committing violence. In the picture, the perpetrator and the beaten girl are not old, and it is suspected to be a bullying incident that happened between minors.

We have talked with you many times about "campus bullying" .

Many times, campus bullying will be taken by lightly - "Children are just having fun, nothing big is going on" .

But a recent new study warns us that we must not underestimate our children's "evil". Children's behavior of bullying other children is not a trivial matter, it may lay long-term hidden dangers.

Research from the Center for Psychiatry Research at the University of Turku, Finland, found that children who bully others at the age of 18 to 9 have a higher risk of violent crimes when they grow up.

This study is based on Finland national epidemiological data collected in 1989, involving 5400 children.

In the data collection stage, the participants' age is 8 to 9 years old . When these participants grew up to 30-31 years old , the researchers extracted information about the participants' suspected violent crimes from the Finnish National Police Register.

Through analysis and follow-up, it was found that the relative risk of boys who often bully others commit serious violent crimes (such as murder or serious injury) as adults is almost three times that of boys who never bully others.

After controlling for factors such as parents' education level, family structure, socioeconomic status, and child psychopathology, the link between bullying others in childhood and violent crimes in adulthood still exist. However, the experience of being bullied has nothing to do with the increased risk of violent crime.

So, whether it is a parent or a teacher, if you find that your child may be involved in bullying, you must intervene in time and stop . Don’t let temporary "make fun" lead to mistakes and regrets that affect your child’s life.
