a gathering of cultural luminaries ignites the passion of the event. renowned authors and experts from around the world come together, driving the popularity of this year's book fair to new heights. in addition to renowned chinese writers, a number of foreign authors have brought their classic works to the event. american writer wendelin van draanen will host a sharing session for her book "flipped"; british illustrator neil parker will join a dialogue on independent illustration; and dutch science fiction author roderick leeuwenhart will kick off an exchange on science fiction with his novel "sterrenlichaam".

8月15日,2025南國書香節在廣州啟幕。本屆書香節加大了「引進來」與「走出去」的力度,國際范兒愈發鮮明。
多國共赴,拓展文化交流廣度。新亮相的國際文化展廳,藏著書香節走向世界的密碼。越南國家館(主賓國館)、東南亞國家館、中亞國家館、阿拉伯國家館、歐洲國家館、國際品牌出版館、國際藝術館等鱗次櫛比,23個國家和地區的出版成果、國際知名出版社的約2萬種原版圖書在此薈萃,可以讓讀者零距離觸摸世界文明脈絡。
內容豐碩,演繹文明交響厚度。精彩紛呈的系列活動,生動詮釋著書香節從「書的交易」到「文明共生」的蝶變。紀念抗戰勝利80周年特展,讓抗戰精神穿越時空直抵人心;「科技重塑世界出版新生態」論壇,邀請全球出版業領袖探討ai與出版融合等前沿議題;潮玩特色展區,既應和z世代對潮流的追逐,又讓傳統文化在創意中煥發新生。本屆書香節將以線上線下融合、全省協同之勢,呈現2335場文化活動。
群賢雲集,點燃文化盛會熱度。海內外名家大咖齊聚,讓本屆書香節熱度攀升。除中國知名作家外,一眾外國作家攜經典作品而來,美國作家文德琳·范·德拉安南將舉辦《怦然心動》分享會,英國插畫家尼爾·帕克將出席獨立插畫主題對話,荷蘭科幻作家羅德里克·列文哈特將攜小說《星體》開啟科幻主題交流。
