Tech Planet exclusively learned that Tmall recently launched a WeChat mini program called " Tmall Supermarket Xiaodangjia" in WeChat, and it is equipped with the Tmall Supermarket logo and the introduction of " Tmall Supermarket Home Delivery". Open the "Tmall Supermarket Xiaodangjia" mini program, and the "Tmall Supermarket" will be displayed directly above. This is also the first time that an important e-commerce business mini program has been launched on WeChat for Alibaba Taobao e-commerce.
According to the introduction of WeChat mini program, the "Tmall Supermarket Xiaodangjia" mini program was developed by Hangzhou Haochao E-commerce Co., Ltd. According to Qichacha , the company is a Taobao holding company.
In addition, the WeChat mini program "Tmall Supermarket Xiaodangjia" was renamed from "Nushihui Supermarket" on August 31. Tech Planet learned that "Guoshihui Supermarket" is a shopping channel similar to Tmall Supermarket, embedded in Taobao App.
At present, the "Tmall Supermarket Xiaodangjia" mini program mainly displays the "Cat Super Card" of Tmall Supermarket and the introduction of "Value Exchange". The homepage does not synchronize the shopping pages of Tmall Supermarket. Tmall customer service told Tech Planet that they have not notified the WeChat mini program to use at present, so they cannot determine when the mini program will be officially enabled.
In fact, Alibaba launched an e-commerce mini program in WeChat last year, but did not name the mini program after brands such as "Taobao" or "Tmall". For example, in May last year, Alibaba tested the mini program called "Relatives and Friends Save Money Purchase" on WeChat. Its Slogan is "Receive red envelopes every day, save worry and save money", and is positioned as a social e-commerce company. "Save money from relatives and friends" can be a shopping platform that helps relatives and friends save money, collect Taobao celebrity envelopes, coupons, and low-priced good goods for users. It is a must-have tool for saving money in the community circle of friends.
This time Alibaba launched the "Tmall Supermarket" mini program. In the view of industry analysts, it may be an important breakthrough in the context of Internet interoperability. It is not ruled out that both parties will break the ice in other fields.
