Zhao Yuqing, a teacher at the School of Electronic Science and Technology of Xi'an Jiaotong University, focuses on the research of electron beam, ion beam devices and micro processing technology. "Ion beam amorphous carbon-based film equipment" is his scientific and technological achievement in the past 20 years. "Before 2018, the transfer center had less than 10 external branches, the center had less than 10 people, and the results were very few." Recalling the development over the past ten years, Wu Zhen, director of the Cooperation and Exchange Center of the National Technology Transfer Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University, felt sad. After 2018, the transfer center began to build a professional and full-time technical broker team. They went deep into enterprises and universities, from confirming and demonstrating enterprise needs, to matching factors, and then to coordinating resources from schools, governments, and enterprises, and building an ecosystem of "government, industry, academia, research, and financial use" for multiple business formats, truly enabling "talent + technology + industry" to develop in a comprehensive manner. At present, the transfer center has established nearly 40 branches in 15 provinces and more than 60 full-time science and technology brokers to accurately serve the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
"In the past three years, our team of science and technology brokers has collected more than 1,100 convertible scientific and technological achievements and sorted out more than 20,000 patents and non-patent stock scientific and technological achievements. Each branch has carried out nearly 800 industry-university-research docking activities, visited more than 13,000 enterprises, and promoted the cooperation amount of industry-university-research cooperation of more than 170 million yuan.
