ATT Mexico said it expects its 5G network infrastructure to cover 25 new cities across Mexico by the end of 2022.

ATT Mexico users will be able to access 5G through ATT Ármalo, a personalized experience that allows users to build their own 5G plans. In addition, enterprises will be able to leverage 5G through ATT services.

Last December, the company launched its first 5G service in Mexico using the 2.5 GHz band.

ATT's 5G network initially covers only the Cuauhtémoc and Napolis districts in Mexico City.

ATT Mexico has previously opened a 5G innovation lab to test and validate 5G use cases with collaborators, industries and customers. ATT Mexico also said it will work with industry, government, universities, startups and large companies to use 5G technology to improve business models.
