The 6th CCIS International Conference on Cloud Computing and Intelligent Systems will be held on December 19-21 Day was held in Singapore. The CCIS International Conference on Cloud Computing and Intelligent Systems was initiated by the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence and IEEE. It is an important international event in a series of initiatives by the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence to build a world-class society, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, and enhance China's artificial intelligence world influence. Professor Huang Weidao is the Provost and Chair Professor of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research focuses on natural language processing and information retrieval. He has worked in many international journals and international Published papers at the conference, including Computational Linguistics, Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (JAIR), ACM Transactions for Information Systems (TOIS), ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, SIGIR, AAAI and IJCAI. The paper won the best paper in EMNLP 2011 and SIGIR 1997 prize.
In addition, he is also the chief editor of computational linguistics, a member of the editorial board of natural language engineering, and a member of the steering committee of ACL SIGNLL. He served as the project co-chair of EMNLP 2008, ACL 2005 and CoNLL 2004 conferences, and served as the regional chair of ACL, NAACL, EACL, EMNLP, SIGIR, AAAI and IJCAI conferences, as well as ACL, EMNLP, SIGIR, AAAI and IJCAI. Professor Huang Weidao has a high academic status in the world and is a fellow of the International Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL). The International Association for Computational Linguistics is a leading academic organization in the field of computational linguistics. Since 2011, ACL began to select members at an average rate of 4-5 per year. The title of ACL member is the highest recognition for those who have made outstanding contributions to the NLP field. As of 2018, ACL has selected 55 Fellows, including 4 Chinese/Chinese scholars. Professor Huang Daowei is one of the 4, and was selected in 2012.
