When it comes to aliens, people always think that there are other life forms in the universe. After all, our earth does not have anything special, and life does not necessarily have to evolve according to the life forms on earth.

Humans are species of wisdom, so in our inertial thinking, when a species has wisdom, they always have the ambition to conquer the universe. But there is no science supporting this assumption, and we must be careful to find evidence to draw this conclusion, rather than imagine.
The earth has a history of 4.5 billion years. During this long period, too many random processes and various tortuous changes have occurred. The original living materials have reproduced and evolved step by step on a habitable planet like the Earth.
But even if a certain planet has the original materials of life and the livable environment like the earth, it cannot guarantee that life will appear, let alone advanced intelligent life.
Some scientists once made this metaphor: the accidental and difficulty of the birth of life on earth is equivalent to dismantling all parts of the watch and throwing them into the sea. These parts are reassembled together through various accidental factors and eventually become a watch.
Science is very rigorous and requires honesty. You must not be too optimistic or too pessimistic when looking at any evidence. We are excited every time we think of the high-level intelligent aliens flying towards the direction of the earth, but this excitement is more just speculation and our wishful thinking, lacking evidence to prove it.
Another point is that life must originate from non-life, and in the process of evolution, such as in a correct direction and trajectory, can the intelligent species finally evolve. And in this long process, any unexpected factor may ruin the smart species.
Of course, most people cannot accept the idea that "the universe is only human", but this possibility always exists before we discover aliens and find relevant evidence.
When we always believe that aliens must exist, it is easy to ignore that the only evidence of life in the universe is our humans!
