China's first Mars rover
On July 23, 2020, the "Tianwen-1" was launched from the Long March 5 Yao-4 carrier rocket, and successfully entered the predetermined orbit, starting a fire exploration journey.
On February 10, 2021, Tianwen-1 meets with Mars , and successfully implements capture braking to enter orbit around Mars.
In the next three months, "Tianwen-1" conducted a detailed survey of the pre-selected landing area and obtained specific picture data to prepare for the site selection for the next landing in Mars.
On May 15, 2021, Tianwen-1 successfully landed on on Mars Utopian Plain. A week later, Zhurong Mars rover successfully sailed onto the surface of Mars and began patrol and exploration, marking the complete success of the "Tianwen-1" mission.

On September 19, 2022, Tianwen-1 probe system deputy chief designer Jia Yang said that "Zhurong" rover is in dormant state, and it is expected that in December 2022, the rover will wake up independently after meeting two specific conditions.
