In comparison, Tianhe core Cabin has 3 scientific experiment cabinets, and Wentian Experimental Cabin has 8 scientific experiment cabinets and 22 out-of-cabin load interfaces.
There is also a very big difference. The Wentian Experimental Cabin airlock cabin can be used by astronauts spacewalk . With the launch of the Wentian Experimental Cabin, the hatch on the Tianhe Core Cabin node cabin has become a backup.
There is also an airlock cabin in the newly launched Mengtian Experimental Cabin, but this hatch is used to transport cargo and does not support the entry and exit of astronauts. As China's space station forms a standard T-shaped structure, it also means that the construction of China's space station is about to be completed. Currently performing missions in the space station are three astronauts of Shenzhou 14. According to the plan, they will also wait for the arrival of the Tianzhou 5 cargo spacecraft and the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft in the space station.
