The golden autumn of harvest, Jinji Lake once again ushered in the "highlight moment" of biotechnology innovation. The 2022 China Biotechnology Innovation Conference will be held on November 3, and will be held via video link between Beijing and Suzhou dual main venues. We will invite scientific and technological innovation talents in the field of biomedicine and representatives of well-known enterprises in the field of biotechnology, and discuss the innovation and development of China's biotechnology.

This conference is co-organized by the China Biotechnology Development Center and House of the Suzhou Municipal People's Government, co-organized by the Suzhou Industrial Park Management Committee and the National Biopharmaceutical Technology Innovation Center, and co-organized by the Suzhou Industrial Park Bioindustry Development Co., Ltd. with the theme of "Promoting the deep integration of science and technology and economy, and creating a high-level industrial innovation cluster". It aims to thoroughly implement the national innovation-driven development strategy and the Healthy China strategy, further promote the innovation and development of my country's biotechnology, promote the integration, innovation and exchanges and cooperation in the field of biotechnology, build an important platform to gather various innovation resources and an important window to show the achievements of biotechnology and industry development.

Conference has set up an academic committee to gather wisdom to jointly discuss the latest frontiers in the field of biotechnology and look forward to future development trends. Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering , Dean of the International Cancer Research Institute of Peking University, Dean of the Suzhou Medical College of Soochow University, Zhan Qimin , Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology , Tan Tianwei , Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dean of the Sixth Hospital of Peking University, and President of Shandong First Medical University Lu Lin will bring thematic reports respectively. At the same time, the conference will also release the 2022 China Biopharmaceutical Industry Park Development Competitiveness Evaluation and Analysis Report and the Results of the China Biotechnology Development Center Think Tank Construction, and look at the new industry pattern.

In recent years, the park has regarded biopharmaceutical industry as a strategic emerging industry leading future development, focusing on gathering innovative resources and seizing the commanding heights of industrial innovation, and industrial development has maintained a rapid growth trend for many years. In March 2021, the park was approved to build the first national technology innovation center in the field of biomedicine in the country, and actively build a global innovation network through joint and collaborating with top global innovation resources. At present, the park has gathered more than 2,000 biopharmaceutical companies.
