On the afternoon of October 28, Professor Wang Hongwei of Huazhong University of Science and Technology was invited to visit online Hunan University of Technology and Business "Lushan Lecture Hall", with the theme of the lecture being "Research on the Complex Social System of Human-machine Integration".
Professor Wang Hongwei pointed out that a new round of scientific and technological revolution characterized by human-machine fusion is profoundly affecting and transforming social life and production modes. The social system is evolving into a complex system coupled with human-machine and objective physical environment, presenting a new social form of human-machine and human-network . From the perspective of social system theory, he deeply interpreted the definition and connotation of human-computer fusion of social systems, and put forward three basic issues in the research of complex social systems of human-computer fusion, namely: human-computer collaboration in complex social systems of human-computer fusion, social networks in the human-computer fusion environment, and emergence mechanisms and evolution laws of complex social systems of human-computer fusion. He introduced the key issues of human-machine collaboration in detail from the micro and macro levels, including the allocation of human-machine tasks and team organization, human-machine differences and human-machine mutual trust, and ethical risks and regulations of human-machine collaboration.
Finally, Professor Wang Hongwei elaborated on the research paradigm of social systems in a human-computer fusion environment. By comparing the traditional research paradigm with the new research paradigm, he believed that the new research paradigm embodies the idea of Qian Xuesen , that is, starting from the whole, using a comprehensive integration method, and then integrating it into the whole based on decomposition research. He emphasized that the key to the new research paradigm is the integration of social experiments, theoretical models and social computing, and has made an outlook on the development trend of human-computer fusion systems.
Professor Wang interacted with teachers and students and patiently answered the questions raised by everyone. After the lecture, the teachers and students expressed that they had gained a lot, and the content of the lecture was of great guiding significance for the application of the National Self-Science Fund Project and scientific research.
