At the beginning of his career: "Choose because of love"

Ning Yunzhan's path to senior technician begins with the inheritance of his father. A box and several tools that belong to the carpenter are Ning Yunzhan’s memories of “craftsmen”. Since childhood, watching pieces of wood turn from his father's hands into cabinets, chairs, and tables, he has developed a strong interest in making it by himself.

Under such influence, after graduating from junior high school, Ning Yunzhan was admitted to the mechanical fitter major of Nanjing Railway Technical School. After graduating in 1991, he was assigned to the Sifang Locomotive Factory of CRRC Group, responsible for repairing parts of rolling stocks. When he first arrived at work, Ning Yun Exhibition encountered parts that could not be repaired and had to be replaced. When Ning Yunzhan was called to the workshop to learn grinding technology, he did not expect that he was facing a machine worth more than 100,000 yuan. Because the grinding technology of the positioning arm has begun to show its clarity, the company decided to start mass production of high-speed EMUs, and Ning Yunzhan's grinding team also faces greater workload. After a period of practical operation, Ning Yunzhan found that the grinding technology introduced from abroad could not meet the requirements of production speed, and he was thinking about updating and improving the grinding technology. Through repeated experiments and grinding, he summarized a set of "pure manual grinding operation methods for wind-moving grinding wheels", which increased the contact area of ​​the positioning arm, so that even when facing the pressure of 20-30 tons that needs to be borne, it will become much safer.
