The water temperature is not too low in late autumn, which is also the last opportunity for most big fish on the bottom layer to forage. Different temperature conditions will cause the so-called location of the fish to change. For example, fishing for edge fishing without being lukewarm or hot, fishing for shade at high temperatures, fishing for sun at low temperatures, etc., choosing a fishing position is always a process of change. In late autumn when the temperature has gradually become lower, it will be better to produce fish in places with higher water temperatures.
1. Direction to avoid wind in the sun
When entering the late autumn stage, compared with the lukewarm mid-autumn stage, there are 3 significant changes in the selection of fishing spots. First, do not fish in the shade and fish in the sun; second, do not fish in the wind against the wind and avoid the wind (slow wind), and third, do not fish in the live water and fish in the still water. The water temperature conditions vary greatly, and the choice of fishing spots is not the same idea at all. In late autumn and even the entire winter, including the early spring stage of the coming year, facing the sun and avoiding the wind are the basics when choosing a fishing spot, which means trying to find a fishing spot in such a direction. The sheltered position can be behind the woods, behind the hillside, or with a relatively high river bank behind it, which can ensure that the casting rod is not affected by the wind. The direction is "dead", but the wind direction may be different every day. If you face the sun but cannot shelter from the wind, how should you choose? Naturally, I choose to shelter from the wind, because the temperature in late autumn is low, and strong winds will cause the water temperature to drop sharply in the areas blown by the wind, and it is not easy to throw the rod. Keep one key point in mind: as long as the wind is strong, the harvest will definitely be poor.
2. Find fish path
Late autumn is the stage for the bottom fish to eat in large quantities. However, as the water temperature drops, the time for eating gradually changes from the whole day of mid-autumn to around noon. Especially after 3 or 4 pm, the temperature drops sharply, the wind may increase, and the fish situation will become worse. Therefore, wild fishing is not difficult at this stage, and you don’t have to go out early and come back late. Only the bottom fish have the concept of " fish path ". Because of the large amount of food, it naturally requires a larger range of food, and the fish path has become a very good choice. The plow tip, the bay side, and the connection between the large and large water surfaces are all better choices in late autumn. As for the depth and distance, it is not advisable to fish too far, because fish must be foraging along the shore for a certain distance, which is closer to shallow water areas, because there is no food in deep water.

3. Find fish nests
The place where fish are gathered is called fish nests. It may be that the food is richer, or the water temperature dissolved oxygen conditions are better than other places, or the safety is higher. Fish nests in late autumn are more closely related to safety and food. For example, in Muddy Water Bay, which is smooth and has a lot of food, the big fish will feel safer in deep water. Therefore, in spring and autumn, whether it is the bay or both sides of the bay, it is a good place to catch big fish. Or the location of the deep and shallow water, the junction of the deep and shallow waters is the classic slope, where fish are hidden under the deep waters, and food is abundant on the shallow waters. There are also deep waters in shallow water, such as places with pits or deep ditches underwater, which are excellent places for fish to hide and forage on the ground. There are also shallow waters in deep water, such as places with steps and hurdles underwater, and places with more large fish on the bottom.
Go to the location where the sun is sheltered from the wind to find places with different terrain than the surrounding areas, and it is not advisable to fish too far.
