Shenzhou 14 flight crew astronaut Chen Dong: Some time ago we watered and sowed Arabidopsis together. Xiaonan is also very adaptable to space life and looks very good. Today we will broadcast the scientific experiment operation of the space station and collect its samples. After teaching the students later, I will cut off all the remaining samples and put them in our frozen storage . After all the frozen storage ducts are taken out, I will put it in the minus 80 degree storage area below and take it back to the earth and hand it over to scientists for research when I return to the ground.

After more than 70 days of growth, the rice seeds have grown into rice plants. An important goal of this experiment is to achieve the cultivation of rice from seeds to seeds and the entire life cycle. There are two types of rice in the growth box. During the rice cultivation process, we discovered a strange phenomenon. A small crystal water droplet appeared among the leaves of the newly germinated rice, and the small water droplets became larger and larger until they were attached to the wall of the growth core. What is the reason? This is the phenomenon of water spitting in rice, which is easier to observe in the microgravity environment.
