The basic conditions for selecting targets for Macao District are to be Chinese citizens among permanent residents of the Macao Special Administrative Region who are engaged in medical, biology, psychology, physical chemistry, mechanical or electronic engineering, astronomy and other related professional fields for at least 3 years, have a doctorate degree, and have good health conditions, and are between the ages of 30 and 45.
selection is organized by China Manned Space Engineering Office , implemented by China Astronaut Scientific Research and Training Center , coordinated by the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. The co-organizers include Civil Aviation Administration of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region Government Education and Youth Development Bureau, and Macao Special Administrative Region Government Health Bureau.

Civil Aviation Administration of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, and Health Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government held a press conference today in the Multi-functional Hall of the Civil Aviation Administration Office to introduce the requirements for the selection of Macao.
