The 2021-2022 insect monitoring survey report by the Institute of Zoology, Guangdong Academy of Sciences shows that the currently there are 157 families and 738 insect species. Among them, 9 new record species include 1 new record family and 3 new record genera.
The most special and cute ones are Eidoreus sp. of the original Pseudo-Ladybobaceae family and Dromanthomorphus mirabilis (Pic, 1907), and Dromanthomorphus mirabilis (Pic, 1907), please get to know them together!

2 At the first sight of this little guy, were you attracted by its long "anter" ? Although it looks very big, the of this little insect is only 3.1 mm long and 1.3 mm wide. It has a cool dark blue and metallic appearance, and the surface of the insect body is covered with white fine bristles. The discovery of the new record is a major breakthrough in the exploration of species resources. It not only enriches the data on insect regions in China, fills the gap in the classification of some groups, but also contains the important significance of ecology , providing clues for the origin and spread of related groups.

These discoveries once again confirm that the richness and diversity of Haizhu Wetland biological aggregation has subverted people's previous understanding of urban park .
