Emin Yoğurtcuoğlu took up birdwatching as a hobby in his youth and later went on to work professionally, adding 14 new species to Turkey's bird catalog during his 23 years of observing adventures.
Recently, Emin Yoğurtçuoğlu continued his observations in the Miliha Wetland in Hatay Province, and recently observed and photographed the desert-eared lark, which was recorded as the 496th species in Turkey.
Yoğurtçuoğlu told Anadolu Agency that he has dreamed of traveling around the world and seeing birds living in their natural habitat since he was a child, and his family has always supported his journey.
He said: "Initially, I was famous as the youngest bird watcher. Of course, the younger a person starts doing something, the stronger the ability to understand and apply it."
Introducing how he discovered this "It follows the migration route of birds and thousands of animals from Africa to the north through Turkey," he said. "I've been here for a year and a half, witnessing the migration of birds." I am a traveler and I am constantly seeking to travel around the world and see new places.”
He stated that he observed 454 species in Turkey and achieved the record for the most number of bird species discovered in the country.
