The width of the "Hell Well" is about 30 meters and the depth is about 112 meters. Six experts from the Oman cave exploration team investigating Barhout found snakes, animal remains and cave pearls at the bottom of the well.

Mohamed Jindi, professor of geology at the German University of Technology in Oman, emphasized that humans did not touch reptiles and scientists did not disturb them.

The cave pearls are gray and lemon green. Calcite balls are formed, which are formed in karst caves due to water droplets.

The expedition collected samples of water, rocks, soil and animal remains, and plans to conduct further research.
