So, are the common medical terms in the physical examination report really that scary?
1 Lung nodules
less than 8 mm don’t have to be afraid of
First, don’t panic when you see the lung nodules on the physical examination sheet.
Because of lung nodules, it may be due to pneumonia, tuberculosis and traces left after tuberculosis, and the proportion of real lung cancer is very small.
See clearly the description of the nodule, whether the edges of the nodule are smooth, whether there are nutritional blood vessels, etc.
Secondly, more than 90% of the lung nodules are benign. If the lung nodules are less than 5 mm, the probability of lung cancer is less than 1%. It is recommended to review the low-dose CT every year;
with a diameter of 5 to 9 mm, the probability of lung cancer is 0.5% to 2%. It is recommended to review the 3-6 months. If it does not increase, it can review it every year;

How do you know whether your breast nodules are "good" or "bad"? There are two methods:
1. Look at the number

6.Gill Bladder Polyps
Generally speaking, for gallbladder polyps less than 5 mm, especially multiple polyps, annual B-ultrasound examination is enough.
For gallbladder polyps of 5-10 mm, it is necessary to check B ultrasound every 6 months, and it can be reviewed every year after 1 year.
But if the gallbladder polyp diameter exceeds 1 cm, or grows rapidly in a short period of time, there is a risk of high cancer.

A small amount of pelvic effusion , normal
A small amount of pelvic effusion is often normal. A small amount of pelvic effusion is often physiological and is more common after ovulation and during menstruation. It is caused by follicle fluid entering the pelvic cavity or menstrual blood flow. Patients generally have no obvious symptoms, and the effusion may be absorbed by themselves.
