In order to effectively protect patients' lives and health, improve the medical quality of our hospital as a whole, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation among various business departments, our hospital's medical department will work with various clinical departments to carry out multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment (MDT).
Multi-disciplinary team (MDT) is a leading diagnosis and treatment model widely praised in the modern international medical field. It is a working group composed of senior multi-disciplinary experts. For the diagnosis and treatment of a certain disease, especially some complex diseases, through regular consultation and joint discussion, it proposes the best treatment plan suitable for patients, and formulates personalized diagnosis and treatment plans for patients, and then the treatment plan is jointly implemented by relevant disciplines or multiple disciplines.
On September 21, 2022, our hospital conducted this MDT diagnosis and treatment in the consultation room of the imaging center. This issue of MDT was jointly carried out by Chen Ke, Li Hongjun, Li Jianming, Sun Qunzhou, Fan Kejie, Zhang Zhiyong of the Department of Bone Oncology, Yu Guojun of the Department of Anesthesiology, Department of Critical Care Medicine, Wang Fengying of the Imaging Center, Zhang Binqing of the Department of Imaging Center, Qin Xiaofei of the Department of Pathology and other experts. Si Chunyang, member of the Management Committee of the East Flower Temple Campus of Luoyang, and Shang Shujuan, director of the Medical Department, participated in the discussion. The on-site discussion atmosphere was warm, and the experts put forward opinions and treatment suggestions based on each discipline, and exchanged views with each other. Finally, according to the patient's specific condition, experts have given more accurate treatment plans.
Based on multidisciplinary discussion and demonstration, this MDT provides patients with the most effective personalized medical plan with the least side effects and the best quality of life. It not only benefits patients to the maximum extent, but also lays the foundation for promoting the multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment model of our hospital and builds a platform for the cross-integration of multidisciplinary disciplines. We look forward to bringing hope to more patients through the joint efforts of multidisciplinary teams.
