[Introduction]
Cardiac rehabilitation refers to the use of multiple coordinated and purposeful interventions to change the function and structure of patients with heart disease, optimize their physical strength and energy, and improve their social participation. And prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular events, reduce risk factors for the progression of cardiovascular disease, reduce the impact of cardiovascular disease on quality of life, morbidity and mortality, change living habits, improve quality of life, and return to society as soon as possible.
1. Who can undergo cardiac rehabilitation?
1. Severely ill patients. Such as myocardial infarction, post-cardiac surgery patients, coronary heart disease patients. According to different patients' cardiac function and reserve capacity, an objective assessment is made, and a targeted and personalized exercise prescription is given based on the patient's own situation.
2. Some patients suffer from lifestyle-related diseases. Early hypertension patients, early diabetes patients, obese patients, etc. According to the patient's own cardiopulmonary reserve function, aerobic exercise prescriptions can be given, and the best exercise therapy for the body can be selected, and better curative effects can also be obtained.
3. Some white-collar workers who are physically and mentally stressed and exhausted. These people may not have heart disease, but their heart function is somewhat deficient due to lack of activity. From a health perspective, prescribing targeted personal exercise prescriptions for these groups will help improve the body's functions and maintain a good mental state.
4.Athletes. For some competitive people, formulating exercise plans based on their cardiopulmonary function and physical fitness will help develop their competitive potential.
2. What aspects does cardiac rehabilitation include?
Cardiac rehabilitation mainly includes five major aspects: drug prescription, exercise prescription, nutritional prescription, smoking cessation prescription, and psychological intervention.
1. Drug prescription: Effective drug treatment under the guidance of a doctor is the cornerstone of cardiovascular disease treatment. Standardization of drug prescriptions has a huge impact on intervening cardiovascular disease risk factors, delaying disease progression, and improving prognosis.
Traditional Chinese medicine plays an indispensable role in cardiac rehabilitation. Traditional Chinese medicine has a unique role in promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, regulating blood lipids, and controlling blood pressure and blood sugar. The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine drug treatment can effectively prevent in-stent restenosis, recurrence of cardiovascular events, and improve cardiac function.
Research on syndrome differentiation of coronary heart disease found that blood stasis, phlegm, qi deficiency, yang deficiency, and qi stagnation are the top five main causes. Therefore, traditional Chinese medicines that promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, warm and unblock heart-yang, and promote qi and resolve phlegm are often used to treat coronary heart disease. On the basis of syndrome differentiation and treatment, individualized Chinese medicine treatment combined with Western medicine standardized secondary prevention treatment of coronary heart disease can enable patients to achieve better curative effects. In the use of Chinese patent medicines, commonly used clinical drugs such as Shexiang Baoxin Pills , Xindakang Dropping Pills, Qili Qiangxin Capsules , etc., combined with western medicine to treat cardiovascular diseases, have been widely used in clinical practice.
2. Exercise prescription: Exercise is the core element of cardiac rehabilitation. It refers to the exercise prescription (such as aerobic exercise, resistance training) for patients with cardiovascular disease after comprehensive assessment: such as cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET), six-minute walk test, etc. Develop systematic and personalized exercise plans in the form of exercise, etc.). In addition, traditional Chinese medicine exercises are also irreplaceable in the field of cardiac rehabilitation. For example, Tai Chi , Baduanjin , Wu Qin Xi, etc. can also exercise the heart and lung function, coordinate the internal organs, and channelize qi and blood.
3. Nutrition prescription: Dietary nutrition is one of the main environmental factors affecting cardiovascular disease. Scientific and reasonable dietary nutrition can effectively reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
The homology of medicine and food is a feature of traditional Chinese medicine in cardiac rehabilitation that combines traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The theory of traditional Chinese medicine believes that the human body is in a dynamic balance, with various internal organs restricting each other, and opposites unify to achieve balance. If the five flavors in the diet are partial to, the five flavors will have too much or insufficient effect on the human body, which will eventually lead to the occurrence of diseases. For example, the heart likes bitter taste, and bitterness is good for the heart. For some patients with weak spleen and stomach, eating sweet things will be of great benefit.
So what happens if there is a dietary preference or imbalance? The ancients have already answered it for us: " Peng Zu's Theory of Health Preservation and Nature" emphasizes that "the five flavors should not be excessive, too much sourness will hurt the spleen, too much bitterness will hurt the lungs, too much pungentness will hurt the liver, too much sweetness will hurt the kidneys, and too much saltyness will hurt the heart." "As far as sweets hurting the kidneys, too much sweets can cause a bad temper and damage the kidneys. Since the kidney governs the bones and stores essence, the essence is growing. If you eat too much sweet food, your hair will lose its luster and fall out, causing bone pain and pain. "Eating too much sweet food will cause bone pain and hair loss." People with symptoms of kidney deficiency, such as frequent soreness and weakness in the waist and knees, tinnitus, deafness, etc., should control sweets appropriately. In daily life, achieving a balanced intake of nutrients and trying not to be overly picky about food is also one of the basic conditions for health care.
4. Psychological intervention: Heart disease is often accompanied by psychological illness, including fear of disease, worry about health, and often anxiety and insomnia. If this kind of mental illness is not discovered and treated in time, it will often aggravate heart disease or cause certain symptoms. Therefore, psychological intervention must be carried out in time.
5. Prescription for quitting smoking: Quitting smoking can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and death. Traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and auricular therapy have good effects on smoking cessation, are simple and easy to implement, and are widely used in clinical practice.
