Everyone must be wondering. As a private tutor of Xiaoxiao Teacher, with the big tree of Teacher Tang as my back, and the teacher’s step-by-step teaching, shouldn’t I have started using plug-ins already?
Indeed, I have made great progress during my private lessons. From the early revision of the draft to the point where I felt like crying, in the end I was able to basically finish it in one draft. Moreover, most of the articles can be posted on the first page of the public account, and there are basically no scraps.
Looks like my grades are pretty good! If
can follow this trend, after one year of studying in the private training class, not only a big shot, but at least a small shot!
But the truth is, let alone being a fan, I even wanted to give up writing for a while!
You may ask, why? Didn’t the writing go smoothly? Isn’t it a 100% acceptance rate?
That’s because everyone doesn’t know that I only wrote 12 articles in one year.
As the proverb goes: If you don't practice for one day, your hands and feet will be slow, if you don't practice for two days, you will lose half of your skills, if you don't practice for three days, you will be a layman, and if you don't practice for four days, you will stare blankly.
I write so little, not because I don’t want to write, but because I really don’t know what to write.
Private Tutoring Class This year, I kept writing and writing, which actually meant starting over every time. How can I make progress in this state? Can't even stay still.
After studying in a private tutoring class for half a year, I once again couldn't find a topic to choose, so I lay flat and didn't write for almost two months. I finally came up with a topic, but suddenly I felt that I couldn't write it anymore. I was in a really depressed state at that time.
If Teacher Xiaoxiao hadn’t taken the trouble to lead me step by step, I might have given up writing at that time.
Because I always get stuck on selected topics, I even asked the teacher if there could be a class dedicated to selecting selected topics?
But the teacher said that looking for a topic is simply looking for viewpoints. This is a cognitive issue and should not be rushed. Apart from reading more and thinking more and slowly accumulating, there seems to be no quick fix.
Although I know there is no shortcut, I still want to make some efforts. So after the private training class ended, I signed up for the 76th basic class.
As a result, just after listening to the six lessons, I suddenly had a sudden enlightenment. I felt as if the ground glass had been wiped with water and instantly became translucent.
Suddenly I was bursting with inspiration, and I suddenly had a lot of things to write in my mind. I was so excited that I ran non-stop to share my joy with Teacher Tang.
haha! Seeing my sharing without bothering to correct typos, Teacher Tang must have been able to feel my inner excitement through the phone screen.
In addition to joy, I also summarized three small methods. I hope it can help friends who, like me, often don’t know how to write because they can’t find a topic to choose.

Follow the template set
It is said that there are a lot of articles in the world to copy, but how should we copy them specifically?
Copying it word for word is called plagiarism. Changing the soup without changing the medicine is called laundering the manuscript. We must not be such people. What we need to learn is the framework of other people's articles. As long as the article has a framework, it is equivalent to a person having a skeleton.
I don’t know if my friends are like me. After getting some materials, I often don’t know how to use them. Obviously this material is very novel and the point of view is very unique, but if I use this material to write an article, it seems that the content is too thin.
Just like I saw a short video on the Internet before, I thought the stories and opinions in it were very novel.But this video is not enough to support an article, and I felt that I couldn't write it for a while.
After I learned how to write eight article structures in the basic class, I immediately started using this material. Because there are ready-made templates, all I have to do is fill them with the corresponding materials. Then if there is a missing section, I go online to search for it.
After adding the beginning and the end, a complete opinion article comes out.
So, as long as you use the routines correctly, writing an article is actually not that difficult!

Practicing deliberately with your eyes closed
If there are very novel ideas in the materials, of course it is good, we can just use them directly. But many times, the materials we find are just materials, and there are no ready-made ideas for us to use. So what should we do?
Then write with your eyes closed! What does
mean? Just practice writing headlines a lot!
Because many times, a good title is a very good topic choice.
When I was learning the fifteen ways to get titles, I imitated all the methods of getting titles.
After I wrote down a dozen titles in one breath, I really found the topic. Then I quickly wrote the article according to the template, and when I submitted it, it was approved in one draft.
Another example is the article you are reading, which is also the result of my deliberate practice.
When teacher Yimei asked me to write a manuscript, she did not give me a specific writing direction, only that it was about writing. In fact, my mind was completely empty at that time and I had no idea what to write.
But, this is a legendary manuscript!
I thought to myself, no matter what, let’s talk about it first!
In order to write this sharing well, I first reviewed the writing number, and then started writing a large number of titles according to the method of taking titles.
is very lucky. When I wrote the fifth one, I found the right writing direction. First decide on the topic, then add the story and summary method according to the template, and it will become the complete article now.

Don’t ask for too much
I often stopped writing for a long time because I couldn’t find a topic to choose, and even ended up just lying down. Stopping writing in this way not only affects your writing state, but also makes it difficult to make progress.
Later, I reflected on it and found that not being able to choose a topic was one aspect, but having too high requirements on myself was also a very important influencing factor.
Because I entered a misunderstanding when looking for a topic. I always think that only a blockbuster and eye-catching topic is a good topic.
Of course, it would be great to be able to make every topic selection shocking and eye-catching. But the reality is that many friends, including me, do not yet have the current cognitive level.
Since we cannot achieve it, we should not force ourselves. When Teacher Lan Lan shared in the group, she said that every big coffee maker actually has a pile of scrap manuscripts on his or her computer.
Are we not big names yet? Why do you have to ask yourself to submit every article you write, or even publish it in a large format? For us at this stage, the most important thing is to keep ourselves in a state of writing.
Chekhov said that every line of text written now is the capital of the future!
