On November 25, the "2022 Changzhou Public Library Business Skills Competition" hosted by Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism and hosted by Changzhou Library, Changzhou Library Society, and Changzhou Library Trade Union was held in the Municipal Library. 53 librarians from 8 public libraries across the city participated. This competition is divided into two parts: written test and practical exercise. The written test part mainly includes basic theory of public libraries, ancient book protection business, smart library , public library reading promotion, etc. The practical part includes book shelves and information retrieval.

Under the guidance of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, Changzhou Library, as the organizer of this business competition, actively responded and attached great importance to it, and established a special leadership group. At the same time, in order to do a good job in pre-match review of this business competition, the city library organized a scheduling guidance training, and the Changtu Society carried out information retrieval skills training, forming a new business model for continuing education for public librarians that promote learning, training, and use of competitions throughout the city.
