Germany WEEE refers to the scrapped electronic and electrical equipment recycling directive. In order to reduce the environmental pollution of electronic and electrical waste, this directive was issued in 2002. The German Battery Law, as the name suggests, stipulates the recycling and treatment of batteries and batteries.
Whether it is the German WEEE or the battery law, it is the EU compliance registration content. The customs department will conduct key inspections of relevant products based on these two regulations. Products related to these two regulations need to be removed from the shelves and labeled.
German WEEE and battery method logos are roughly the same. They are both wheeled trash cans with forked, but the WEEE logo has a rectangular thick black line below the trash cans, and the black line inside the trash cans is solid, while there is no black line below the trash cans, and there are hollow black lines inside the trash cans.
Specifically, the German WEEE and the battery method have the following differences:
1. Different sources: The WEEE regulation is ElectroG; the battery law regulation is BattG.
2. Different instructions: German WEEE is the electronic and electrical equipment recycling command; the battery method is the waste battery recycling command.
3. Different scopes of application: WEEE is suitable for all electronic and electrical equipment. Simply put, all live products must be registered with German WEEE; the battery method is applicable to all batteries.

1. Only the battery method is required to register
batteries are defined as source of electricity and are obtained through direct conversion of chemical energy (including solar cell ). All batteries must register the battery method (no registration of WEEE is required). For example, a single function, only charging, and a power bank with an interface and power display.
2. You only need to register WEEE
. The product has non-removable batteries and has functions other than "power source". For example, multi-function power banks, mobile phones, etc., you only need to register WEEE.
3. It is necessary to register German WEEE and battery method
electronic and electrical products with removable batteries, such as mouse, remote control and other products.
