It is said that the sunflowers in some parks in Shencheng have been "pulled" by tourists.
So, can the sunflower melon seeds grown in major parks be eaten?
Sunflower varieties can be roughly divided into two categories: "ornamental" and "eating". Generally speaking, the ornamental varieties have smaller plants and can be planted in pots; the edible varieties have taller plants and are mostly planted in open air.

Bao Ruijie, engineer of the Horticulture Landscape Department of Chenshan Botanical Garden, introduced that in Chenshan Botanical Garden, the sea of sunflowers is currently in excellent bloom.
In addition to the golden sunflowers, some are in ancient style and bronze gradient colors, called ‘retro trend’.
There is also a variety of gem red lemon color gradient, called 'Gem red fang'.
The whole golden variety is called 'Golden Fugui'.
