I am 45 years old this year. Two years ago (that is, 43 years old) I had to quit my nude from a state-owned enterprise that year. At that time, I worked in a state-owned construction company, and my education was just a college junior college and an ordinary employee. So I ran everywhere in our province and went wherever there was a project. I couldn't go back to my home several times a year. The annual income from the salary plus bonus was more than 70,000 yuan, less than 80,000 yuan, which was enough to reach the food and clothing line, but I still resigned reluctantly.
Because my wife and I divorced a year ago, I have a daughter who is in the fifth grade of elementary school and the child is taken care of by my wife. However, during the phone call with my child, I felt that the child had changed a lot. I often lost my temper with my family for no reason, but I was very timid in school. I dared not speak in class, bullied by my classmates, and did not dare to resist. I once did not dare to go to school. I am very anxious for children to have these problems. I know that if they do not receive psychological counseling from parents, the children will be depressed or disgusted with school, and bullied by their classmates. Then they will find the campus bully to solve the problem. At that time, the current situation of the children will be difficult to reverse.
It is undeniable that these problems a child have are related to parents, lack of care, and the couple divorces. But I think it is because her mother's mother's education method is inappropriate, she often criticizes and abuses the child for no reason, and lacks real care. I think I can educate my children well, at least ten times better than now. With this idea, I resigned from a state-owned enterprise and went home reluctantly. Before resigning, I thought it was very difficult to find a job again when I was middle-aged, but I had to go back even when it was difficult. With such a tragic idea, I quit.
Before resigning, I found a three-level private ownership construction company in my county town. At that time, I agreed that if there is a project, I would do construction management on the project, and if there is no project, I would go back to the company office to do bidding information. After I went back to this private-owned construction company, I happened to have a housing construction project in our county. After a year and a half, the project was completed and accepted, and there was no project later. Because it is a third-level qualification enterprise and the technical staff is insufficient, one person has multiple positions, and I am no exception. While doing construction management of the project, I am also responsible for the preparation of technical bidding materials for the company. One day after the project was completed, the company boss said without any warning that there was no project, there was not much work in the company, the company was running difficult, etc., and then asked me to leave. The next day I went through the resignation procedures.

After leaving, I was also very scared. Where to find a job? There are more than ten construction and supervision companies in our county. Because of their low qualifications, they cannot receive larger projects. They don’t want to do small projects after winning the bid, so they sell them to small contractors to do it. So there are almost no projects to do. Even a very small construction company has several small projects that are still in remote places. I can’t live without the county town. Every day I have to pick up and drop off my children to school. After a month of confusion, I decided to work in a property company. The work is easy and I can find some part-time jobs. Now I am helping people write construction organization design and special plans online, ranging from 200 to 300 yuan per article. Half a year ago, I worked part-time in a branch established by a surveying and mapping company in our county. A year ago, I accidentally learned that the branch was left with only one technician in our county because of its small business volume and needed a part-time surveyor, so I went and worked until now.

Now I work in the water and electricity group of the property company, doing part-time measurement and writing construction organization design. I don’t make much money now, but my monthly income is not worse than when I was in a state-owned enterprise before. Living in the county town can still solve the problem of food and clothing, and my children are getting better and better according to their own ideas. Now I also learn to edit videos, write articles, and do more part-time jobs. I feel that life is quite exciting.
I think state-owned enterprises are easy to get along with, and they can easily become frogs in warm water. Only by constantly making progress can they not be eliminated by society after being eliminated by enterprises; large companies have high salaries, but that is the world of young people; when people reach middle age and are really unemployed, should they lower their status and do what they can do? When we enter middle age, don’t always think about the work threshold of 35 years old. We are already past 35 years old. We must adjust our mentality, lower our posture, and face difficulties. Learning new knowledge and adapting to new work is difficult for middle-aged people than young people, but we have the advantages of resilience and maturity. Some of us middle-aged people have been defeated by the current difficulties and negative information. When we act, everything is possible.
