1, Mr. Hu's intention and sincerity

He put the word "political correctness" in the middle and had two intentions: First, he wanted to slow down the impact of his sentence itself, so as not to say that he did not agree with "promoting the main theme." Second, he used his "old journalist" to remind the online media not to "promote the main theme" and "a hundred flowers bloom".
But what Mr. Hu Xijin didn't expect was that it was him who used the word "political correctness" in , which made the sentence "promoting the main theme" have some connection with "political correctness". was originally not a match for both. At the same time, it also revealed his true meaning - he has truly equated "political correctness" with "promoting the main theme" in his heart!
2. Promote the difference between the main theme and political correctness
Mr. Hu basically only understands the concept of "political correctness" from a literal sense. In fact, it is a political term commonly used in the West. In recent years, with the beginning of Western media, "political correctness" has become popular all over the world. In fact, this concept is also controversial in the West. Baidu found that there is a passage under this entry: "In the views of some American liberalist , conservative and many commentators, the word political correctness itself is 'political incorrect', which is a derogatory term, similar to the meaning of false Taoism, and will threaten society's freedom of speech (liberal willists believe that even words that are regarded as offensive or even discriminatory are part of freedom of speech), pose a threat to the social inclusive values (and becomes inclusive), and there is a dispute over whether the relevant 'political incorrect' speech constitutes discrimination and offensiveness."

First, in the Western political context, "political correctness" itself is also a concept with uncertain connotation and extension. "Promoting the main theme" is a concept with certain connotation and extension.
Second, "political correctness" has obvious irony and is a derogatory rather than neutral word. "Promoting the main melody" has no irony, it is a word full of praise.
After Mr. Hu mixed up this and conflated the two, people would no longer dare to "promote the main theme" with confidence, for fear of being regarded as "political correctness."

No matter what Mr. Hu’s original intention is, from the perspective of the effect, Mr. Hu’s use of the word “political correctness” has cast a shadow on “promoting the main theme” as “a derogatory term, similar to the meaning of false Taoism, and threatens society’s freedom of speech.” Once people mention "promoting the main theme", under the guidance of Mr. Hu, someone will soon ridicule, slander and derogate it with "political correctness" - what to say to promote the main theme! It's just "political correctness"! It just threatens freedom of speech and rushes to bloom!
So, does this article mean that Mr. Hu has made the "Chinese 'blooming flowers'" and "promoting the main theme"? This is what Mr. Hu says from Mr. Hu's words. But Mr. Hu did not specify which events were in line with this conclusion, but only said some ambiguous words - "cultural products are removed from the shelves, even in the womb", and "the remarks of a certain electronic music or a certain celebrity" are questioned "political incorrect". Which specific "cultural products are removed from the shelves" or "the remarks of a certain celebrity" are questioned? Which "movies" or "a certain celebrity's remarks" are questioned? He doesn't say it. That is equivalent to putting a "glorious" hat on all "cultural products are removed from the shelves" or "a certain movie or a certain celebrity is questioned" - for "political correctness", that is, to "promote the main theme".Since Mr. Hu did not specify it, let’s give an example. For example, a singer’s “cultural product” was removed from the shelves because the singer took drugs or solicited prostitution. Is this for the “political correctness” that Mr. Hu said? Is this also "blooming with all the flowers"?
Mr. Hu mentioned "some government management agencies and institutions involved" and put it on the label of "radical political correctness". However, Mr. Hu's mention of "some government management agencies and agencies involved" reminds me of a very specific example, that is, the "textbook illustration" incident. In this incident, the Ministry of Education is what Mr. Hu calls "government management agencies", and People's Education Society is what Mr. Hu calls "involved institutions". The masses pointed out that the problem of textbook illustrations is Mr. Hu's "radical political correctness". The printed textbooks cannot be used and must be replaced and reprinted is Mr. Hu's "cultural products are removed from the shelves." According to Mr. Hu's logic, is the "textbook illustration incident" a typical case of "promoting the main theme" and leading to "blooming all flowers"? In Mr. Hu's mind, is the textbook "off the shelves" not "poisonous weeds" but "scented flowers"?
Mr. Hu can't tell an example, and the logical basis for the whole article is only one: "According to Lao Hu's observations", isn't this ridiculous? Then I would like to ask, question whether "a movie or a celebrity" itself does not belong to the "a hundred flowers blooming"? From the perspective of "promoting the main theme", questioning "a movie or a celebrity" itself is not even among the "a hundred flowers blooming"? Is this a "poisonous weed"? Could it be that Mr. Hu wants to put a golden bell cover on "a certain movie or a certain celebrity"? Don’t these people be questioned? Furthermore, is anyone who questioned "a certain movie or a certain celebrity" "to promote the main theme" to "grow a hundred flowers in full bloom"?
4, is the main theme opposite to the flowers?
Mr. Hu is unwilling to indicate it, what are you afraid of? Even if there is no example, it is concluded that "the ethos of pursuing 'political correctness' is getting more and more intense" means that "the more and more intense" it is necessary to make a lot of case analysis as evidence! On average, how many cases that Mr. Hu thinks meet the conditions occur every day will be considered "increasing and intense"! Just by "Lao Hu's observation and understanding" it is said that "increasing intensification"? Mr. Hu has no case, and just as he is determined, "objectively compressing the open and lively space of our society", isn't it arbitrary?
To put it bluntly, Mr. Hu opposed "promoting the main melody" and "a hundred flowers blooming" and used "a hundred flowers blooming" to suppress "promoting the main melody". In fact, these two are not contradictory. "Advocating the blooming of all flowers" itself is "promoting the main theme." It’s just that Mr. Hu may have confused “flowers” with “grass”. Some of them do not belong to “hundred flowers”, but “poisonous weeds”!
There are some "government management agencies" dealing with some problems reported by the public, and some cases involving "cultural products removed" and "questioning" by Mr. Hu, and there are indeed improper handling. But it is not all for the sake of "political correctness", but some consider real adverse consequences. For example, a person with extremely misconduct is a public figure. Because of his skill, what will his social impact be? That is, "to treat moral character like dirt." Should the relevant "government management agencies" be in charge of such matters or not? According to Mr. Hu, it should not be taken care of, because it will "promote the main theme" and "broaden all the flowers".
I put forward different views on some of Mr. Hu’s views in my article not long ago, and I regret reading today’s article. I am afraid that I will also fall into the pit of Mr. Hu "broadening the flowers" because of "promoting the main theme", especially fearing that he will rush to Mr. Hu's "broad flowers". Mr. Hu!
