Shiyan is located in the northwest region of Hubei, adjacent to the four provinces and cities of Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi and Chongqing. Although it has the east-west Xiangyu Railway , it has always lacked the north-south trunk railway. Once the north-south Zhengzhou-Chongqing high-speed railway passes through Shiyan, it will likely completely change Shiyan's transportation pattern, and may even become a high-speed rail hub. Therefore, Shiyan must vigorously strive for it. Xiangyang is the second largest transportation hub in Hubei and a provincial sub-central city. 3. The dispute between Jingzhou and Jingmen for the high-speed rail along the Yangtze River
