The second Damen YS 53 navigation boat is under construction at Damen Yachting Shipyard in Antalya and is scheduled to be delivered in 2024. The YS 53 yacht is 53.25 meters long and marks a strategic change in Damen Yachts’ yacht navigation yacht strategy. The first yacht in the new YS 53 series has been sold to Anthony Hsieh and will be delivered in 2023.
This 53-meter superyacht was designed by the shipyard’s in-house design team. Marine Engineering was also completed by engineers from the shipyard with the help of the Damen Research Laboratory in the Netherlands. The YS 53 places a strong focus on demanding performance, efficiency and comfort and offers a wide range of upgrades for the yachting lifestyle. “The YS 53’s exterior design starts with familiar functionality, but there’s more than meets the eye,” said
design manager Wouter Kleijpoel, who led the Damen Yachts design team that created the concept. “It’s interesting , a strong and bold design that makes you believe anything is possible, I think this is an exciting project. ”
The boat is equipped with a deck crane , which can lift up to 15 tons. The huge 250 square meters of deck space is designed to store tenders, toys, vehicles and dinghy up to 16 meters long.
On board you can Accommodating 6 to 16 guests, as well as a crew and a skipper, there are different layout configurations to suit the owner's needs.
In terms of power, the yacht is equipped with two Rolls Royce MTU main engines, allowing her to reach 19 knots.
