Newly built, renovated, and expanded childcare institutions should comply with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development’s "Nursery and Kindergarten Architectural Design Code" (JGJ39) and relevant national earthquake resistance, fire protection standards, and electrical safety regulations.
3. There should be a building area suitable for the scale of the event and service functions, and rooms for infants and young children should be set up in accordance with the "Building Design Code for Nurseries and Kindergartens" (JGJ39).
4. The house building consists of three parts: a living room for infants and young children, a service and management room, and a supply room.
(1) Infant living room: In order to provide space for infant living units and public activities, including class activity units (including living areas and game activity areas), dedicated activity rooms, etc., it should be set up on the first floor with good lighting. The air should be circulated, the floor should be softened, flat, non-slip, and free of sharp protrusions, the walls should be protected, and the indoor should be equipped with equipment to adjust the temperature.
(2) Service management room: a space for external contact and internal infant and child care and education management services, including health care rooms, education rooms, conference rooms, etc.
(3) Supply room: a space used for food, drinking water, laundry and other logistics services, including kitchen, disinfection room, laundry room, boiling water room, etc.
Those who take care of infants under the age of 2 must set up maternal and infant rooms and lactation rooms that comply with relevant regulations.
5. Interior decoration should comply with relevant national regulations on safety, sanitation, environmental protection, fire protection and other requirements. Equipped with basic facilities and equipment required for the psychological development of infants and young children, child care facilities and equipment, toys, books and game materials, etc., and a game area.
6. There should be an outdoor activity venue or a sunroom with sufficient lighting, equipped with appropriate toys and game facilities, and have corresponding safety protection measures. Under the premise of ensuring safety, public spaces near the institution can be used.
7. It should be equipped with heat preservation, sanitation and disinfection, safety protection and alarm and monitoring equipment that meet the standards. There should be a surveillance video observation area in the office, and all places in the childcare institution (except adult restrooms and changing rooms) should be monitored without blind spots.
8. It should comply with the fire safety evacuation regulations such as " Fire Protection Code for Building Design " and set up safety protection facilities and equipment that meet the standard requirements.
