At that time, the Japanese and puppet troops often went to the countryside to "sweep" from the Caoyankou area. The New Fourth Army fought with the enemy day and night, and the ammunition was consumed very seriously and the ammunition was urgently needed. Daoyuan Township immediately decided to send a capable personnel - Lu Haisheng, to carry out the mission.
The next morning, Lu Haisheng, who received the order, came to the enemy-occupied area, Shangang City. After entering the city, Lu Haisheng successfully joined the underground party organization in the city, and the two sides then handed over the batch of bullets.
