Ding Jian, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of the Echeng District Veterans Affairs Bureau, delivered a speech and announced the start of the election. meeting reported on the progress of the preliminary resettlement work and explained the work and requirements for the resettlement and position selection of retired soldiers. Previously, the bureau strictly reviewed the files of 20 retired and demobilized resettlement recipients. According to the service performance and contributions made in the fight against the new coronavirus pneumonia, based on archive points, and in accordance with the requirements of "strictly implementing preferential policies for the placement of retired soldiers such as combat tasks, difficult and remote areas, and participating in front-line work in Hubei for the prevention and control of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic", it focused on highlighting the resettlement requirements of such personnel. The remaining personnel shall select positions from high to low according to the principle of equal service contribution and resettlement. On the premise of early job collection, job announcement, and points announcement, this job selection is based on the "four disclosure" principles of placement targets, placement positions, placement procedures, and placement results, and strictly follow the standard process to ensure that the job selection process is open, fair, just and transparent. This year, our district received 20 retired soldiers and firefighters who were retired in accordance with the government's arrangements. A total of 22 resettlement positions were provided for government agencies and institutions and state-owned enterprises, and the ratio of the number of collected positions to the number of resettlement personnel reached 1.1:1.
