From the appearance, this warship has used a relatively obvious stealth design, that is, large and small sections and tilt designs. China's 055 is currently the most advanced 10,000-ton destroyer in the world, and there is no such thing. Its ship's length is 180 meters, its ship's width is 22 meters, and its full load displacement is as high as 12,500 tons, which is much larger than the traditional Arleigh Burke, Ticonderoga , and Japanese King Kong level. In addition, the 055 destroyer also has very complete radar and electronic devices. The stealth design itself is also ahead of other warships. Although it is not as special for stealth design as the Zumwalter , its stealth capability is firmly in the first echelon in the world. The most core of 055 is naturally the 112-unit large-caliber vertical launch system, which can launch a variety of weapons including air defense missiles, anti-ship missile and cruise missile , and even the future sea-based ballistic missile defense system and anti-ship ballistic missile . And because the depth is deeper and larger than the MK41, the scalability in the future will be stronger than that of the MK41. Even if the total launch number is slightly smaller, the overall combat power is obviously stronger.

What’s funny is that India does not make a big deal about weapons and radar electronic systems, but chooses to make a deal about tonnage and the number of missile launch units. First of all, India claimed that the P-X destroyer in his mind had a full load displacement of 13,000 tons, crushing the 055 destroyer with a huge advantage of 500 tons. Moreover, India has arranged a total of 144 vertical launch units on this warship, which is more than Ticonderoga in the United States. This additional 32 vertical launch units can carry 32 more missiles, which has an absolute advantage in naval combat.

Of course, these words were said by the Indians themselves, so let’s analyze what kind of existence this P-X warship in India is. As we mentioned earlier, the overall configuration is obviously immature, which is similar to the so-called domestic warship designs in India before. In the final analysis, India's lack of capabilities. Second, Indian naval warships lack advanced phased array radar systems. For this 10,000-ton warship, the most core is naturally four-sided phased array radar and other auxiliary radars and electronic equipment. Third, advanced weapons are essential for warships to play a role, and India's reserves in this regard are also very poor. Comparing P-X and 055, you will know that in fact, the real combat strength and tonnage of this so-called 13,000-ton ship are extremely inconsistent with the tonnage. The general combat effectiveness should be similar to that of the mid-term Burke-class destroyers, but the reliability may not be as high as that of the old American warships.However, don't overly belittle this P-X warship. But the problem now lies in time. India's production time is too slow, and even with strong paper performance, it cannot be fully demonstrated. This is not considered that the core technology and related weapons are all foreign. Therefore, even if India's new P-X warship can complete the construction task within the time India expects, it will still threaten other small countries around. If we want to pose a threat to a super naval power like China and the United States, India is still too young.
