are all selected, the fourth generation of individual equipment is still in the R&D state and should be a military secret at present. Outsiders do not know what new materials and new technologies it uses to manufacture.
But we can get a glimpse of the whole leopard from the second generation "warriors" and the third generation "centurion". From 2012 to 2022, the Russian army has received a total of more than 300,000 sets of "Warriors" individual systems. The biggest feature of this individual soldier system is that it can quickly adapt to combat equipment. It integrates more than 60 components including weapons, eye equipment, protective equipment, etc. In particular, this protective component is said to cover about 90% of the body area of the soldier, and it is breathable, light in weight, and is quite easy to wear.
In terms of weapons, the system is equipped with an AK-12 assault rifle . The gun is equipped with night vision , laser target telescope, retractable stock and other plug-ins, which can meet the combat needs of different groups such as infantry and machine gunners.
And the third generation of "Centurion" individual soldier system is also in development. According to the Russian side, in the future, the "Centurion" individual soldier system will be equipped with an optical device that can blind the enemy from a long distance.
This system integrates components such as shooting system, communication system, life support system, etc. The 6S20 universal "hybrid" grenade-spray integrated system used by the system is under test.
6S20 integrated system is a removable and reusable high-tech scope . It can not only aim during day and night, but also is equipped with laser rangefinder .
In addition, the "Hundred-Man" individual equipment can also project images detected by small drones onto helmet masks or goggles . The "chameleon" electronic material used can switch colors at any time according to changes in the environment, which greatly increases the camouflage during combat. According to the Russian military plan, the "Hundred-Man Leader" individual soldier system is expected to replace the "Warriors" suit in 2025. The two individual systems of
have greatly improved the combat effectiveness of Russian infantry and minimized the casualties rate of the Russian army. If the "League Soldier" individual system is released, it will be more defensive and combat-oriented than the "Warrior" and "Length of Hundreds" individual equipment, and is the best equipment for the Russian army to go out to fight.
The problem is that there are no "warriors" and "leaders of 100 people" individual equipment in the current Russian-Ukrainian conflict, and no one has seen with his own eyes how much practical role these two equipment play? After all, Russian military-industrial enterprises have not been tested in actual combat, which gives people a sense of sensationalism.
Russia should take out these modern individual equipment, arm the 300,000 mobilized soldiers who are about to go to the battlefield, and show the world its true combat effectiveness. This will make people convinced, increase the morale of the Russian army, and reduce the battlefield casualties of the Russian army.
It is worth mentioning that the "future warrior" individual system that the US military is trying to build has not been finalized, nor has it been applied in actual combat. According to the US, the system can significantly reduce the load on soldiers, improve their working conditions, and improve combat effectiveness. Its biggest feature is to improve the battlefield perception ability of soldiers, so that they can still fight while communication and GPS signals are suppressed, and even have the ability to "peep into any corner of the next room"!
For this reason, the US military is considering creating a vision enhancement system goggles for future fighters. The equipment is said to be from Microsoft's HoloLens 2 virtual reality helmet. The helmet is equipped with a variety of environmental sensors, which can integrate temperature, humidity, wind direction, climate and other indicators during combat into an head-up display .
At the same time, the US military also believes that this goggles can help soldiers see through the situation outside the vehicle, that is, a soldier sits in an infantry fighting vehicle and sees the situation outside the vehicle clearly through the camera on his helmet and the outer camera of the infantry fighting vehicle. This means that an infantryman rushing to the battlefield has initially possessed strong battlefield perception capabilities. This will greatly enhance the soldier's survivability.
In the US military's vision, the ceiling of this goggle is close to the "Thorhammer" power armor helmet of the protagonist Master Chief in the game " Halo ". However, in 2020, the US military suspended testing of this goggle. Some foreign media speculated that in cold weather, the goggle had visual blur and the soldiers were tired of wearing it. Obviously, there is still a long way to go to make the future warrior system move from theory to actual combat!
