Singapore Employment Pass EP (Employment Pass) Introduction
Singapore Employment Pass EP (Employment Pass) is a program for foreign professionals, managers, executives and experts. Under this plan, applicants can apply for an employment permit of 1 to 2 years as long as they find a local employer in Singapore. The applicants can enter and exit the country unlimitedly during their residence period. The permit expires and can be extended as long as the applicant is still employed.
Ministry of manpower (MOM) will review their work permit applications based on the applicant's salary, qualifications, work experience and nature of their jobs. The monthly fixed salary of the applicant for
EP permit must not be less than 2,500 yuan. EP pass holders can apply for a family visa for immediate family members.
Singapore Ministry of Human Resources encourages companies to give priority to recruiting local employees. Therefore, if the company wants to apply for EP for foreign employees, it needs to publish the job information for this position in the local Job Bank for more than 14 days and interview a certain number of local citizens to explain why Singaporean employees were not hired in the end.

EP application conditions
Foreign professionals who meet the following requirements can apply for EP:
1. Have already had a job offer in Singapore.
2. Engage in management, administration and other professional work.
3. Monthly salary reaches at least SGD 3,600 (Applicants with more experience need to meet higher salary requirements):
Young graduates from excellent colleges can be qualified if the monthly salary of SGD 3,600 is reached.
Older and experienced candidates need a higher salary to qualify.
4. People who meet the application qualifications are usually required to have excellent university degree, professional qualification or professional skills.
MOM does not have a list of approved institutions, but rather evaluates applicants based on a wide range of criteria such as global and national rankings, as well as admission standards. Candidates who are not eligible for acceptance may not be rejected. Likewise, having an acceptable qualification does not guarantee approval. The specific results will be finalized based on the applicant's personal circumstances.

P1 pass
If the applicant's monthly basic salary is higher than S$7,000
① Can apply for a relative pass for spouse and children under 21 years old (Dependant’s) Pass)
② Can be a parent (including the spouse’s parents), daughter over 21 years old who is not married yet, Handicapped children, Step-children Apply Long-Term Social Visit Pass
③ Can apply for PR, And the chance is very high
④No need to pay labor tax (Levy)
P2 permit
If the applicant's monthly basic salary is higher than S$3,500 but not more than S$7,000,
① Can apply for a relative permit for spouses and children under the age of 21 (Dependant’s) Pass)
② Can be a parent (including the spouse’s parents), daughter over 21 years old who is not married yet, Handicapped children, Step-children Apply Long-Term Social Visit Pass
③ Can apply for PR, And the chance is also high
④No need to pay labor tax (Levy)
Q1 permit
is suitable for foreigners with a monthly basic salary of more than S$2,500 and holding recognized degrees, professional qualifications or professional skills.
① Can apply for a relative pass for spouse and children under 21 years old (Dependant’s Pass)

③No need to pay labor tax (Levy)

The first application period for EP is 2 years, and it starts from the day of Issued.
