The project is based on a survey of 17,991 people from 36 countries around the world from April 30 to July 13, 2022, including 8,061 elites, 4,536 business decision makers and 8,035 ordinary people.

European countries remain strong in this ranking, accounting for 6 seats in the top ten. In addition to Switzerland (first), Germany (second), Sweden (fifth) and the United Kingdom (eighth), France and Denmark rose two places respectively compared with last year, ranking ninth and tenth respectively.
